RM of Marriott’s story
The Rural Municipality of Marriott No. 317 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910. It lies in southwest-central Saskatchewan, and its land area covers roughly 830 square kilometres.
Several unincorporated communities and localities lie within its boundaries: Bents, Malmgren, Marriott and Valley Centre.
Today the RM is run by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Tuesday of every month. The RM office is in Rosetown.
